Short version: LayoverOps reads options data already on your screen. Nothing leaves your browser. No accounts. No servers. No tracking.

What LayoverOps does

LayoverOps is a Chrome extension that reads the options chain rendered on Yahoo Finance and exports it as a CSV file with calculated Greeks. Pro users can send that data to Claude (Anthropic's AI) using their own API key for analysis.

Data storage

Settings (risk-free rate, license key, Anthropic API key) are stored in chrome.storage.local — on your device only. No sync to any server.

Your Anthropic API key

Pro users provide their own Anthropic API key. It is stored locally and sent only to api.anthropic.com when you click Analyze. It is never transmitted to LayoverOps or Readiness AI.

What we never collect

No browsing history
No personal information
No financial data beyond what you explicitly export
No analytics or crash reporting
No advertising or tracking SDKs

Host permissions

The extension requests access to finance.yahoo.com and its regional subdomains to inject the export button and read the options table. It requests access to api.anthropic.com for Pro AI analysis only.

Third parties

We do not share, sell, or transfer any data to third parties. The only external communication is your direct API call to Anthropic when you use the Pro analysis feature.
